HyperCyl Compact Satellite (HPX) Unit. HPX Series cylinders provide longer total and power strokes in a smaller overall length than traditional HPS units. The HPX series cylinder is a Self-contained system without the need for external reservoirs.

Fast-approach then high-pressure stroke permits a “soft-touch” with tooling contact and permits monitoring of stack-up height PRIOR to high-pressure stroke. Two pneumatic valves for operation make this the ideal choice for an efficient,low cost yet long-life pressing & forming cylinder.

(AL) MECHANICAL ROD LOCK

The “AL” Rod Lock option is a locking device installed on the head end of the cylinder that provides a positive locking of the cylinder rod when air is removed from the lock. The locking action is designed where safety considerations require positive locking of the tooling/actuator when air pressure is removed from the circuit. The rod lock option is available for all 1 through 30 ton HyperCyl® cylinders. Rod Lock – 60 PSI minimum air pressure required.

(TSL) TOTAL STROKE LIMITER

The “TSL” option limits the total stroke of the cylinder, including the power stroke. Adjustment is accomplished by rotating the adjustment barrel and locking ring.

(NR) NON-ROTATE

Utilizing the flats on the external work rod, the Non-Rotate option provides a mechanical non-rotate rod/adapter plate for Anti-rotate.

Included: NR plate, NR rod, NR/FH head and fasteners.

(S) NON-STANDARD ROD END

The cylinder rod end can be modified to adapt to customer tooling, die plates and/or just about anything else that is required. Please make your request known during the quoting process.
