HZ SERIES
The “HZ” Series High Speed cylinder is a totally self-contained, cost-effective power source ideally suited for Piercing, riveting, notching, clamping, marking, coining and assembly applications where short stroke, High Speed/High Force operation is required.
Available in sizes from 1 to 30 tons and 1.00″ of power stroke, the HZ cylinder design provides a single unit without hydraulic hoses in a very compact package where space is limited. Customized power stroke lengths are available upon request.

(AL) MECHANICAL ROD LOCK
The “AL” Rod Lock option is a locking device installed on the head end of the cylinder that provides a positive locking of the cylinder rod when air is removed from the lock. The locking action is designed where safety considerations require positive locking of the tooling/actuator when air pressure is removed from the circuit. The rod lock option is available for all 1 through 30 ton HyperCyl® cylinders. Rod Lock – 60 PSI minimum air pressure required.

The cylinder rod end can be modified to adapt to customer tooling, die plates and/or just about anything else that is required. Please make your request known during the quoting process.
